MyMoneyPot ("we", "our", or "the app") is a family gold and silver tracking app developed by Maegham Info Tech. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your mobile number (stored encrypted) or Google account details (name, email, profile picture) used to identify you.
- Asset data — gold and silver holdings you enter, including weights, purchase prices, shop names, and photos.
- Usage data — login timestamps and activity logs used for security and support.
- Google Drive — if you link your Google account, we store only a refresh token to back up your data to your personal Google Drive. We never read any other Drive content.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the app for you and your family group.
- To send OTP messages for secure login (via your mobile number).
- To back up your data to your Google Drive when you enable the feature.
- To show live gold and silver prices sourced from public APIs.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Data is shared only with:
- SMS provider — your mobile number is shared only to deliver OTP codes.
- Google APIs — only when you explicitly link your Google account for Drive backup.
Data security
Mobile numbers are stored encrypted. All traffic uses HTTPS. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, though no system is 100% secure.
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can contact us to request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
